Where to Study Chinese in China

 Various Programs Offered: 

Both    degree    and  non-degree   Chinese language  programs  of various lengths and  proficiency     levels     are    listed    below.    International students may take any of them   according to their study plan. Students  may  get diploma or certificate of study and credit transfer  at  the end of the program  if   they  pass the tests.

II. Short-term Chinese Program:

Short-term Chinese Programs are designed  for international students who would  like to study the Chinese language for a short period of time from just 2 weeks to 12 weeks.

IV. Bachelor's Degree Program:

Bachelor's Degree Program is designed for those  international  students  who'd like to study Chinesem systermatically  for four years for a Bachelor's degree.

The students may take a  placement test  at   the  beginning  of  each  semester  to  deside  which  class  their  Chinese  level  fits into (complete beginners do not need to take  the placement  test,  and  they  fit in the beginner level of classes). Besides, students   are   allowed   to   try  different  classes at   the   first  2   weeks   of  each  semester and  then settle in the class that fits   them    well.   Speaking,    Listening,   Grammar,  Reading  and  Writing are the  basic courses.     If    the    students    are  interested, they may also choose to take  elective  courses   in   their  spare  time,    such   as    Chinese   cooking,   Chinese painting, Paper-cutting, Chinese kungfu, Chinese calligraphy,  traditional Chinese   musicial instrument playing, etc.  

I. Long-term Chinese Program:

Long-term    Programs   are   designed    for  those international  students  who  would like to   study  the   Chinese   language  for 1  to  4   semesters (i.e.  half  a  year,   or 1  year, or 1  and   half  a   years,   or  2  years)  for  any    purposes    such     as   their    career, business     or    interest    in    the   Chinese language, etc.

III. Mini Class Chinese Program:

Mini-class Chinese Program is designed for those   international  students who would like take a private or smaller class, or whose proficiency  level  of  the  Chinese  language does not fit into  any of  the regular classes.  The students may take the program for any length at their own choice (Class size of the mini  class   depends   on   the   number  of students  (of  about  the  same  level  of the Chinese language) on 1 teacher. It can be one on one (one teacher teaches one student; two on one ...... five on one.

All   the   Chinese   language   programs   are designed to suit  each student's needs. There  are  5  levels of   Chinese  language   classes offered for the students to choose from: beginners, elemetary, intermediate, good and advanced.
