Where to Study Chinese in China

4 to 9 weeks of Intensive Chinese language summer and winter courses are offered every year for international students at all proficiency levels of the Chinese langauge (elementary, itermediate, advanced), from all over the world. Small classes, native Chinese student language partners, experienced teachers.

Summer Courses:  generally starts in the middle of July and eds at the end of August.

Winter courses: gnerally starts  in the middle of January and ends at the beginning of February.

Winter Chinese Courses in China, 2010

Intensive winter Chinese language courses for international students from all over the world. Small classes of different levels of the Chinese language for beginners, intermediate and the advanced.

I. Time (4 weeks):  January 11, 2010  to  February 5, 2010
   (4 class hours a day in the morning (45 minutes each), five days a week)

II. Expenses:
1. Registration Fee:  RMB 400 (about $57)
2. Tuition Fee:  RMB 2050 (equals to about $290)
3. Textbooks:  About RMB 100 (equals to about $15)
4. Accommodation Fee:
---Single Room:  RMB 1600 (equals to about $228)
---Double Room:  RMB 800 (equals to about $114)
(The accommodation fee indicated above is for 30 days stay at the International Student Dormitory. If you are to stay there longer than 30 days, you should pay more fee for the extra days.)
5. Private 1 on 1 class:  RMB 80 (equals to about $12) / per class hour
Those students who are interested in taking the private one-on-one program (i.e. one teacher teaches one student) may apply to take the program any time, and the duration of study and class-hours they take each day are at their own choice. However, the minimum duration is at least 2 weeks and the minimum class-hours each day is at least 2.

Notes:
* The numbers of US dollars in the brackets are for your reference, and you may check on the Internet for current exchange rate.
* The International Student Dormitory is open to service for 24 hours a day and you may check in anytime when you arrive on campus.
* The office hour of the International Student Office is from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. After you have settled down at the International Student Dormitory, you may come to the Office for registration..
